Welcome
The UNESCO/SA NOSTRA Chair in business and environmental management focuses research and training activities on Environmental economics issues, with special emphasis on the existing relationships between the economic and natural systems. Additionally, it also promotes the interaction and exchange of ideas among environmental economists and researchers from other fields. This way, the UNESCO Chair collaborates with postgraduate programs at the Universitat de les Illes Balears, thus contributing to students' training in natural resource management; organizes seminars and conferences; and participates in debates on different issues of social concern. Research work undertaken by the UNESCO Chair has also been published in academic journals related to its aims and scope at both a national and an international level, thus playing a crucial role in knowledge dissemination.
